Welcome to Met Engage |
||
Dear Resident,
I wished to write as the Neighbourhood Superintendent in Haringey, and welcome you to Met Engage. This is a new system for the Metropolitan Police, and an excellent way for you to receive information from us about what is happening in your area and what we are doing to tackle the issues that are most important to you.
Whether you signed up in person with an Officer or PCSO, or via another format, I wished to say a personal thank you. You are one of over 200 people who signed up in Haringey this week, and one of over 600 members who are linked to Haringey in total. The more people that sign up, the better the engagement we can have, so please encourage your friends, family, and colleagues to sign up to this free service.
If you haven't received it already, you will shortly receive an email asking you what your main priorities are in your local neighbourhood. This will make sure you get the most relevant updates from us as well as informing us what we should be focusing on in your area.
Please bear with the teams as they begin to create their accounts and send messages. You have the opportunity to rate the emails which gives us valuable feedback to be able to learn and ensure you receive the best information.
By way of a reminder, this is not a crime-reporting platform. If you wish to report a crime you can call 999 in an emergency, 101 for non-emergencies, or through our Report a crime | Metropolitan Police section of the Met website. Alternatively, you can stay 100% anonymous by contacting the independent charity Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111 or via their untraceable online form at crimestoppers-uk.org.
Thank you again and welcome to Met Engage,
Yours sincerely
Ian Martin
